Always Busy Growing (ABG) Childcare Home provides a high quality childcare environment where children's individual needs are met and each individual child is respected. ABG encompasses hands-on, child-centered learning where children are allowed to explore and be creative within a safe and nurturing environment and lightly structured day.

ABG's learning environment is set up into areas to accommodate infants and mixed age groups. These include science, art, dramatic play, real life, manipulatives, quiet / book, and large & fine motor. Toys and books / equipment are rotated regularly and new items are added each day as the children's interests change.

ABG offers a home atmosphere, rather than a classroom structured atmosphere, where the child can choose to be involved with household / family-type responsibilities, where their interests are listened to and respected, and where activities are scaffold based on those interests.

Parents new to the program are taken on a home tour, and a typical day is described. They're allowed to see where their child would eat, nap, and play. While sitting down, policies, forms, and any parent questions are discussed. After the interview is over, parents my review ABG's policies at home, call with any questions or concerns that they may have, and call the references provided.
